The milestone of 5th September 2023 is here and it’s a major stage in the BT Openreach PSTN switch-off programme. BT Openreach will no longer allow the sale of new FTTC or G.fast lines for telephone or broadband services. This step underlines the industry’s move to a more advanced and resilient communications infrastructure through the retirement of analogue services.

For standard connectivity, we recommend FTTP wherever possible. Where this isn’t available, SOGEA is a good alternative. ADSL can be provided in exceptional circumstances where other solutions aren’t viable.
